Individual Therapy

Therapeutic Approach

Coming to therapy for the first time can be a daunting prospect which is why my first priority is to establish safety and create a therapeutic alliance with my clients. By creating a safe haven and secure base for them in sessions, clients are able to access vulnerable emotions, process and heal from old wounds and pave a way forward. It’s really important to me that you feel safe and supported throughout your therapeutic journey.

Therapeutic Modalities

I acknowledge that we are all different and there is no “one size fits all,” when it comes to therapy. This is why I pull from a number of different therapeutic models, so that I can tailor an individual approach to meet your needs.

These models include:

Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT)

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)

Interpersonal Therapy (IPT)
